Peak Season and Fare Classes

Starting 2020 we will be pricing the Savannahlander tours a little differently. This page explains the new fare classes and season dates.

Peak and Off-Peak seasons

The Savannahlander is a fantastic experience any time of the year – the changes of the landscape throughout the season is one of the unique aspects of this trip and return travellers can enjoy a different experience again and again.

However, due to different reasons we fund that we are over subscribed in middle of the year – so to make travelling the “shoulder” seasons more attractive we have introduced peak and off-peak season pricing.

Peak Season is for tours departing in the months of June, July and August.

Off-Peak Season is for tours departing in the months of March, April, May, September, October and November.

Fare Classes

We have also introduced some new fare classes – here is an explanation of all the fare classes.

Adult – this is the standard full adult fare

Concession – if you have a valid concession card at the time of booking then please note your card numbers and we can apply this discounted fare. A list of valid cards is available online here.

Child – for children travelling accompanied with at least one adult and between the ages of 4 and 14. Children under the age of 4 travel free with an adult.

Single Supplement – this is the additional cost per person for the tour package with sole occupancy of their rooms. Please note that this changes in peak and off-peak periods

Happy2share – travellers selecting this room type/class will have a greatly reduced single supplement, year round. This indicates that you are willing to share a room with another traveller of the same gender if we have another booking. If we assign you another traveller – your single supplement will be removed completely. Please see our Happy2share page on the website for a list of dates that have room sharing available.
